Levi Ferguson of North Mahaska moved into fourth place on the state's career rushing list with 241 yards and five touchdowns in a 61-0 win over Iowa Valley of Marengo. Ferguson has 6,366 career yards and also holds the state record for career touchdowns with 113.

Stanton quarterback Drew Whigham has been a model of accuracy throughout his career, but Walnut made his final game one to forget. Whigham, who entered Friday's game with two interceptions this season and 10 for his career, was intercepted six times as Walnut qualified for the eight-man playoffs with a 54-30 victory.

Calvin Christopherson and Drew Hanson combined for 298 rushing yards and six touchdowns while Jake Ham logged 17 tackles in Whiting's 42-28 victory over defending eight-man state champion Remsen St. Mary's. The Warriors' eight wins this season equals their total the last three seasons.

Andy Jennings of Red Oak ran 44 times for 332 yards and four touchdowns in a 36-16 victory over Maple Valley/Anthon-Oto. Ben Hansen contributed 23 tackles, giving him 151 stops for the season.
