A trilogy of struggle exhibitions is on view at the Iziko Slave Lodge. Remembering Slavery reflects on the period of slavery at the Cape from 1658 until early 1800s. Separate not equal deals with segretation in schools in the US during the 1960s. Breaking the Silence: La Luta Continua explores themes such as the campaign against torture, the TRC and the struggle for the rights of survivors. The Slave Lodge is open daily except Sunday. Abdullah Ibrahim with the Department of Arts and Culture is hosting the world premiere of the Cape Town Jazz Orchestra at the Cape Town International Convention Centre on Saturday.
