Who never heard of swinging as sexuality put in practice? A great many people perceive it as a dirty, nasty and/or depraved way of enjoying sex.
That is OK if people have their own concepts regarding sex, but to maintain within respect range is the most important way of handling it.
Those friendly leanings towards the idea of swapping sex-partners are known as "Swingers" and a lot is speculated around what really happens between a man and a woman who are dating, engaged, or even married of who frequent swing clubs.
Most people know just that they don't have the same regular sexual behavior
than most couples do. Besides that, they seem to be just as normal as any other
people.
In the swing world, there are many rules which must be strictly followed, so that might it not turn into a total mess.
To instances sexual rapport, when someone approaches somebody else with sexual intentions, if the answer is "negative", the person's will, must be respected.
By the contrary, the expulsion is the punishment. Another very important rule is about condoms: they are always necessary and a new one must be used for each person you will have sexual intercourse.
Most common in the United States, the rule that prohibits "touch without asking" is hardly followed.
In the swinger culture, there are the so-called "Urban Swingers", a very closed and selective group that only admit childless, unmarried young graduates and with not more than 30 years old.
However, the NASCA (North American Swing Club Association) does not accept into membership clubs which are not open to all.
When the participants' sexual orientation is the subject, it would be correct to say that most women are bisexuals and it is less so among men. It is an optional thing and may vary from club to club.
There are some places where people must be open to all orientations and practices, and some other that split the public between their orientations.
Still in the rules, the great majority of swinger clubs do not aloud single men. Single women however are held in high regards.
